Description: What if peace is found not by solving life’s contradictions, but by learning to rest within them? This six-week experiential series invites participants to explore the paradoxical nature of mindfulness—the way we, when being mindful, can hold opposites such as acceptance and change, stillness and movement. Each session includes a 30- to 35-minute guided meditation, a period of mindful walking, a short teacher reflection on a central paradox of practice, and a shared group dialogue about how these tensions arise in everyday life. All who can comfortably sit for about thirty minutes in meditation are warmly welcome.

Effie Stavrulaki is a meditation teacher with NSIMC as well as a management professor at Bentley University. Read more at Effie’s teacher page.

This program has a tiered pricing structure (see above). Paying at the highest level you can afford helps us support those who need to pay at a lower level. NSIMC members should feel free to pay at the lowest level; become a member here.
