From Dec. 19 through Dec. 23, the First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist (FRS) of Newburyport will open its sanctuary at noon for one-hour programs of poetry, guided meditation, silent meditation, and blessings.
On Tuesday, December 19, NSIMC meditation teacher Effie Stavrulaki will offer a talk and guided meditation titled “Stories and Silence.” Simple, everyday stories of kindness and connection can often inspire us to see our daily lives from a different light. Come and join in deep listening to these stories and in a restorative meditation practice.
These are stressful times. All members of the Greater Newburyport community will be welcomed to this series, offering refuge in reflection, centering practices, and silence. This program is free and open to the public.
