Embodied Lovingkindness: Cultivating an Open Heart in Everyday Life

  • Internal Arts New England 102 Bridge Road Salisbury, MA United States (map)

In this experiential workshop, we will explore lovingkindness as a quality that can be directly experienced and cultivated in the present moment. While traditional lovingkindness practices often use phrases and intentions to nurture goodwill, we will also investigate how kindness can be embodied—felt as warmth, acceptance, care, and connection within our own experience. Through guided meditations, mindful movement, and gentle inquiry into personalized lovingkindness phrases, we will cultivate a sense of presence with an open heart. By bringing awareness to moments of ease, gratitude, and caring, we can discover that love and kindness are not merely ideas to think about, but living qualities that can be experienced, nurtured, and shared in every moment.

All levels of experience are welcome, whether you are new to meditation or a long-time practitioner.
