Breath and Being: A Workshop in Mindful Presence, with Effie Stavrulaki

  • Internal Arts New England 102 Bridge Road Salisbury, MA United States (map)

In this experiential workshop, we will explore the simple yet profound power of breathing through guided silent meditations and mindful walking practices. Drawing from the principles of Insight meditation, we will practice attuning to both the natural rhythm of the breath and specific breathing techniques known to release stress and increase vitality. Conscious breathing can calm the mind, relax the body, and build resilience in the face of daily challenges. All levels of experience are welcome—whether you are new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop offers a supportive space to deepen your connection to breath and cultivate present moment awareness.

Effie Stavrulaki is a meditation teacher with NSIMC. She is a UCLA-trained mindfulness teacher and has a Koru Mindfulness certification, which specializes in teaching mindfulness to college-age adults. She is also a management professor at Bentley University. Read more at Effie’s teacher page.
