This is the second session of Matthew Daniell’s winter Wednesday night series, running from January to April – this is the last opportunity to register for this series.
In this twelve-week series, we will go through a ten-step process to cultivate and recognize awareness in ways that are flexible and empowering; equally applicable in daily life and formal meditation practice, and when times are good or bad. This progressive approach will include: intention, breath, sensations in the body, slowly opening to choiceless awareness, and just being with things as they are. As we progress, we will welcome a fuller range of our thoughts, moods, emotions, relationships with others, nature, and everything we meet in the world. Once we have worked through these steps and learned to apply them in a skillful way, our practice may become more natural, flexible, and enjoyable. Each class will include extended guided and silent meditation periods, reflection, and discussion.
This offering is appropriate for all those who are not complete beginners and can sit for 35-40 minutes in mostly silent meditation together. Please note that unlike Matthew’s previous Wednesday night series, this one will be held online only.
