Exploring the Refuges: The Buddha, the Dharma, the Sangha (3-week Wednesday night series)

When: Dec. 3–17

Where: Online via Zoom

Time: 7–8:30 pm

Cost:

$60 (members/supported)

$70 (base)

$80 (benefactor)

In this three-week mini series, we will explore the Three Refuges of the path of Buddhism: The Buddha represents the awakened one, and the awakening potential in us all. The Dharma represents the nature of things, and the Buddha’s teachings, and Sangha is the community of awakened ones, and of our shared practice communities. Together, they form a bedrock for shifting away from the reactivity and suffering that come from clinging to our conditioned thoughts, and into a fresher, more kind and wise relationship to daily living.

Each week of the series, we will have about a 35-minute sitting period, followed by a short walking meditation, followed by reflection and discussion. This program is suitable for newer and older students alike.

Fee: This program has a three-tiered pricing structure (see above). Paying at the highest level you can afford helps us support those who need to pay at a lower level. NSIMC members should feel free to pay at the lowest level; become a member here.
