Join us for a special evening workshop with Rebecca Bradshaw, a highly respected dharma teacher and author of the book Down to Earth Dharma: Insight Meditation to Awaken the Heart (Shambhala, 2024).
When: Sunday, March 16, 4:30 – 6 p.m.
Where: First Religious Society, Unitarian Universalist, Lower Meetinghouse
Description: In this workshop, Rebecca will share insights and practical teachings from her new book that bring balance into our mindfulness practice, so that it not as goal oriented, but rather becomes receptive and open. The workshop will include a guided meditation session (15–20 minutes), teachings by Rebecca that highlight key themes from her book, Down to Earth Dharma, and an interactive Q&A session where participants can engage directly with Rebecca and explore their questions about mindfulness and Dharma practice. At the conclusion of the workshop, Rebecca will be available to sign copies of her book. All are welcome.
